SKCG Group, Inc.

When several of Westchester's largest insurance companies merged, a new logo was needed to move the company forward. The use of an older type face suggests stability. The globe and its gold ring move the company into the future.
Nola's

The name stands for New Orleans, La., and the store features upscale women's clothing. The logo had to imply a store (hence the awning) and the type needed to be artsy and frilly. The entire feel was made to be evocative of a steamy summer day.
Solaris

This logo, for a sports and tennis club, went through many variations before coming to rest with this setting (or rising) sun. The logo is calming and uplifting and represents this club's positioning in the market.
Westchester Residential Opportunities

Finding, maintaining and securing fair and affordable housing for those in need is the mandate of this non-profit agency. Its logo reflects the diversity of clients served and the types of housing provided.
D'Arcangelo Software Services

This company develops and maintains auditing software, a way to keep large companies better organized. We developed a logo that evoked a lens or portal. Someday, we hope to animate it for a web site and show it opening and closing.
Colchester Investment Counsel

This financial services company wanted a logo that was not graphic, and that used its initials. We worked with a variety of combinations, setting on this grouping that is easy to read and easy to recognize.
Metro Mechanical

This heating and air conditioning company needed a logo that would work on everything from business cards to jackets and hats to a fleet of vans. The colors were obvious. We wanted something eye-catching and that would make good use of the white vans. This design seems to pulse with energy.
Morton Pictures

It's always a challenge to design a logo for a creative company. Morton Pictures deals with images, so we created a logo that we imagined being shown on a movie screen.
Monique's

A fun place where children have custom parties and take dance and exercise classes needed a logo that combined the name with a catchy phrase. The extra-long 'q' gives the logo a special look when used in print advertising.
Perfect Health Diet

This holistic dog and cat food manufacturer's logo is made to resemble a brand, such as one that would be used on cattle. It was only years after it was designed that people started seeing Groucho Marx smoking a cigar!
Ben Boykin Associates

Mr. Boykin's financial consulting business needed an image that went with its owner: serious and formal. Our idea was to work off the idea of a royal emblem, complete with monogram.
Spectrum Computer Corp.

This established business wanted to update its image. Keeping the company name embedded in the logo was important, so we created what we think of as a "country club seal" to identify the firm. The simple color scheme adds a note of seriousness.
Sport & Wellness

A health club with eye toward wellness needed a logo that not only spoke to its philosophy, but that could be reprinted on T-shirts, water bottles, shoelaces and more. The all-seeing eye looks over you. On the other hand, the sun rising over the gently sloping hill is very relaxing and restorative.
Westchester Job Central

When it opened, this business focused on finding jobs for high school and college students in Westchester. We saw the potential for national growth, and designed a logo that is open-ended in its design. The logo also was created to appeal to the audience served by WJC.
